Something I've wondered for a while

OK, I really wanna know what kind of tickets does insurance find out about, and really is there any way of insurance not to find out (eg, by using x-copper, etc.) ?

I was gonna put this in the ticket section but it not about a specific ticket, but a general question..do i dunno, mods move it if its in the wrong place. I'm sure lots of people are wondering about this.

They see any ticket you get convicted of. They will not see tickets you fight and win. By win I mean the ticket is dropped all together.

Not all tickets will have an effect on instrance rates. It also depends on your insurance company. For examply, my first and only ticket was failed toobey a sign, and brought with it 2 demerit points. I never saw a change in my rates.

insurance sees a ticket as a ticket, it usually goes up regardless

1 ticket = 28 over speed limit -- droped to 15 over with NO POINTS
1 tickes = fail to surrander insureance card - droped, no points
1 ticket = fail to surrander insureance card again-charge,no points
1 ticket = for taffic violation - charged but no points
1 ticket = license plate on dash = won and no points

so insurance rates go up based on points?

saying someone gets a ticket, meets with the prosecutor and bargains no points, insurance wont find out?

or

insurance goes up based on anything at all like signal lane change, stop sign, not obeying a sign, etc. , or is it only speeding?

I think this whole system is very confusing...if anyone could give a definate answer or give a link to a site that can clear this up I'd be very greatful.

insurance finds out about all convictions regardless if points are involved.

best bet is to get a drivers abstract done, on mine it doesnt show two of the tickets i got, so the ones on my drivers abstract are the only ones that insurance can find out about
