Some dude front ended me!

Some people just gotta learn to drive!!!

I'm taking a left turn at Vic Park/Finch around noon today. Some dude in a K car is in front of me. A TTC bus had just then let of like 20 people and most had started to cross the street (causing our left turning to be halted. So buddy in the K car thinks he's too far out now (it was clear, but cars were starting to come). So what's he do instead of going forward a bit and straightening out? He decides to BACK HIS SH!T UP!!! I'm only like a foot away from him, and my horn is sorta busted (long story, bottom line, is it sounds like those party cracker whistles!)

I start honking, but he doesn't hear me nor stop, so I let go of the brake (figure that he's gonna bump me, I don't need to increase the damage). I see the people behind me in the rearview mirror wondering what the heck that fool is doing. So he bumps into me and stops. Does't seem like he even NOTICED bumping into me... FREAK... (but im thinking, it wasn't very hard, and at most a small dented front bumper right?)

So I take my left, and I'm waiting for him to stop, but nope, he goes forward a bit more and hangs a left at the plaza. Im like screw this, I was on my way to get gas, so I pull into the Shell right there. I jump out and to my surprise, no damage, no dent, no nothing, not even the dirt on my bumper had moved, just a small impression where his bumper 'i think' touched mine... lucky i guess...

moral of the story, leave more room on left turns and get your horn fixed especially if driving in hoods like scarberia... freaking wack!

end of story... have a good day! :)

phew, my small encounter similar to that, ended up me having broken headlight mounts.

hmm, for your horn try taking a flathead screw driver, and try seperating the 2 metal pieces by a bit (u may have to go all around the horn), my old horn used to do that.

good thing everythings ok though!

some ppl :shooter:

im sorry to hear that sam. some people these days...they dont think

NoSpleeny 26-Nov-2002 11:41 AM

I never tailgate for those exact reasons. I worry that somebody might back into me, somebody might brake hard and I go into them...

The horn is definately my friend.

I'm curious... According to studies.. Canada is the most unsafe place to drive. How come Canadians think they are like god behind the wheel of a car? Canada has the most road rage.
