If your insurance company is anything like" the personal", prepare to bend over as your policy is probaly going to be cancelled when they see the mods, switch it back to stock if u can, i recently got screwed by my insurance company, perfect record and all

no they didnt even take the deck, the were amateurs, they just took my subs, all i care about is the window so if i just claim that i dont expect any problems, they really dont even have to see my car, its not like it was a collision that requires assesment, i need a new window, that pretty much the beginning and end of the situation hopefully that gets me out cleanly, or else ill have to pay for the window myself, anyone know a place that does this sort of thing inexpensively?

the smart ones "pro" takes everything.

and when you claim it with insurance, and get everything back such as a new deck, or subs ect:

the theives willl be waiting to come back for another steal, since they know your going to have new blings in the car.

am just saying this, cause it had happen before.

I would say don't even bother trying to claim it through insurance. Its not worth it in my opinion. A new window won't cost you that much to purchase used and you can install it yourself w/o too much trouble. Sure, loosing the subs sucks but having to deal with insurance isn't fun and if you originally signed up w/ them saying your car is stock and they find out it aint stock. They are more than likely going to cancel your policy.

its so when your dumb *** goes out and runs over an old lady and you get sue'd for a million they'll cover your ***... not for the $5000 fine... and by the way that fine is almost NEVER $5000.... ive seen at least 10 people charged with it and they're fines ranged from $1000 to $3500....

NOTE
I had to include the old lady bit because one just smashed my car,,,, and the dumb *** comment wasnt necessaraly directed to you but to your comment...

this is why i always back my car up against the door.. so itll take time and effort to get the crap out.. plus its not easy to take my box out. only comes in or out on a certain ange.. and the amps are on with self tappers would take a good at least 5 minutes to get it all and i sleep with my deck's face

i wouldnt be able to sleep if my car wasnt tucked away in the garage... even with the pager alarm and proxy sensors warning me if someone is even walking around the car... still has to be in the garage...
