Reasonable time to trial, due process
Lets say if I got a ticket in the end of April, and my trial date is February next year. Does that right to a speedy trial and due process stuff come into play.
Anyone know what the precident is?

If it's a trial, get a laywer, he will be able to argue the case better that you can...ie qoute trial info...ie Davis VS Crown.
If you can't present a case that shows how another trail was thrown out because it took too much time to go to court, you will probably lose....
Now if it is a FIRST OFFENCE meeting, it might get droped right then and there, or lowered to a lower fine.
Take it to court, don't settle for a lower fine if it still has points connected to it.
Read here and you decide.....(sorry, I can't seem to find te thread that I posted.....Did someone delet it? It had to do with the Ascoff ruling......I think thats how it's spelled.)
