Be prepared to pay twice the amount of the ticket if you're going through X-Copper (it's their service fee). But since you don't want to lose any points, might be worth your while.

clarify what is consider a win since reducing the fine or points is consider a win by them.

^ Most cases I heard of is that they will reduced the point(s) rather than the fine. But since you're paying for their service anyway, it will probably be the amount twice the ticket. Example:
Let's say the driver was nailed with 2 points and $300 fine. X-Copper will reduced the points to 1 or 0, but will charge $600 for their service. So, with that "win", they will pay your fine with the $600 fee. So in reality, you paid $300 for the reduction of the points.

so you know you did it.. you admitted to it.. why are you not ready to pay?

if you're denying it, deny it ever happened

just go to court and talk to the prosecutor beforehand, they should just drop the points and accept a simple fine.. a conviction on their performance record is a conviction, no matter what the penalty is, and pleading guilty to a lesser offence saves them a lot of time and a potential loss

Are you fighting it because you may get an insurance increase? Insurance has there own system and dont go by demerit points. Whether you pay $5 or $5000 for a offense it doesnt matter in the eyes of insurance they just care about what kind of offense it is (in this case its a minor)
