Was thinking about that, and they have amazing records, but is that possible? If you have 3 cars? Must everyone be a primary driver on each and not able to go through my parents as a secondary? that is where i get confused.

my parents both have cars, i kept the ownership of the car under my moms name. Because they already had 2 cars, i had to be the primary driver on my car it was 328 a month on a 92 civic vx. btw, i was 17 with a g2 then

So its not possible for me then? Since there are 2 cars in the family, and the insurance would automatically put me as primary then eh?

Shop around, Go to a few companies with your parents.

Tell your parents to call a few brokers and setup your insurance threw one of them.

Hopefully you can get it for a bit cheaper, but at your age I doubt you'll be getting rates at below the 200/mth range even under your parents, but you never know.

Also call for rates on a cx/dx, or try looking for a crx dx or even a 4th gen dx hatch or sedan. If they're not busy also ask for the si models just for comparison purposes. If it's a couple hundred more per year, why not.

i'm 22 have my g, and I drive a 88 crx SI $195 a month, but thats till I get my renewal I have 8 points on my licence but my insurance company never even checks they just keep signing my renewals I have 6 month policy, but come my renewal they will probably cancel my insurance then I will have to go with high risk insurance but will only be around $250, because I do live in PTBO small town.
