Drive your car without your hood on? I mean can you drive on the highway, street with no hood completely? Is there a section in the HTA that says it's illegal?

Billy from Lethal Imports used to do that with his Audi. it sounded sick, and he never had any problems with popo ffrom what I remember.

hehe, saw the same post on CSI.....

u can always try explaining to the officer, if he actually does decide to pull you over, that you were on your way to the body shop to pick up the hood!

from what i remember it IS illegal..
should you hit anyone then there is the chance they might get tossed into the engine compartment and sliced to bits by fans or whatever..

This thread is still alive?!/?! Anyways yeah SiR-Racer is right I had no way of transporting my new hood so I just removed my old stock one and drove (65KM pretty far) to pick up my new one. Nobody really noticed like I didnt get ppl staring at me ... I dont know why?!?

What was really screwed was that it started pouring really hard like monsoon, just when I was about to reach there. I was like ****!!! Luckily I brought a HUGE plastic bag the one that comes with new office chairs with me so I pulled over ran out and covered my engine, needless to say I was instantly soaked to the bone that's how hard it was comming down, so I sat there for about 5 mins and then it cleared up.... the f'd up thing was the place was 1 min away !!! Anyways I bolted the new hood on and drove home no probs.

And I know there is a guy around Scarborough with a hatch and a swap that drives around with no hood ALL THE TIME.... ppl say he looks like Jesus.... and when I first heard that I laughed like yeah right..... one day driving I saw a car with no hood I was like WTF?! I looked in at it was that guy and he did look sorta like Jesus!! Anyways to make a long post short, we raced and I beat him by 1/2 a car length, but he was pretty quick!....... see ya!
