pulled over by a bitch cop.

Got pulled over for doing nothing today... I was on the road in Missisagua doing the speed limit and everything. The bitch turns on her cherries (no pun intended) comes over and tells me to roll up the window... she checks my tint... and says to me "your tints are too dark." and I said to her "I was pulled over by an OPP and he checked my tint and he said it was a perfect example of a tint job" (and it was true) so at this point she was pissed she wanted to get me somewhere else so she asked for my licence and registration... I give it to her then she ask for my insurance... I only got the most recent one that they broker sent me and it was expired. Anyways to make a long story short... she checked my insurance and it turns out good so now she's even more pissed so ******* gave me a $70.00 for "failing to surrender insurance" because my slip was expired. BITCH! I really feel that she's on a power trip and she just wants to vent, I was there at the wrong place at the wrong time. If it wasn't for my expired slip it would have been my "loud exhaust"...

MY QUESTIONS (please help if you can):
1. l my insurance rate go up because of this stupid ticket? Or will I get any points taken off?

2. Is it worth fighting this thing?

Yes fight it. Same thing happened to me. When you go to court just have your valid insurance papers w/you and just tell the judge that you had switched the insurance papers by accident and you left the expired one in your car that day.

as for dermerit points, if i'm not mistaken your not goin to lose any b-cuz it is not a "moving violation" so you need not worry, its just a normal fine, ur insurance should not go up b-cuz of this.

stupid cop... waste of my time and money

The stupid thing is... she walked back to my car with the ticket AFTER she did the check on her computer and I asked her stright up "so I have insruance right?" and she like "yeah, but how am I suppose to know that you do or don't everytime I pull you over?" (Isn't that their job to make sure this kind of things are valid?)

So basically she gave me a ******* $70.00 ticket for doing a 5 min check up and even though I am fully insured she gave me the ticket anyways... thats so ******* retarded... thats so wrong and unfair.

Once a ticket is written, it can't be ripped up......just take it to court with your papers, and tell them it was the insurnce's fault, they didn't mail it in time.

Seriousness aside... That's exactly what I said to my g/f when she gave me the ticket and my g/f thinks so too haha.
