Pre inspection
#3
I assume you mean an insurance pre-inspection. If so, yes I have gone through them twice, once for my EL and once for my mom's RSX. Basically, they take two pictures of your car, ask about any aftermarket stuff (stereo, performance parts, etc.), any security system you might have, and thats about it. Depending on how thorough they are, they might ask to look under the hood, inside the car, in the trunk, etc. to verify if you have any aftermarket stuff. Apparently, all insurance companies are now required by law to do these inspections for new clients with cars that are not brand new.

Well it's a catch 22! If you don't report it and something happens' like a break in and the take your stereo, you can't claim it because you didn't report it. Also they might drop you if they find out you "fraudently" bought ins. If you report it, be prepared to pay through your nose!
