i just read the thread
i have a couple of questions though, why wouldn't you drive your car and have your buddy drive your cousins car?
why wouldn't you take your liscence out of your car and bring it with you.
and if he thought his foot was broken, why wouldn't you go to the hospital?

for the people who are saying he should have been in an ambulance- an ambulance is not needed for a possible broken foot, but either is speeding and passing where your not allowed.

and you say he didn't give you a break, come on man, your so lucky im beginning to think you have a horse shoe up your ***.

basically what you did was stupid, and you deserve more than what you received. sorry but its true.

you can try to fight it, but i really don't see you winning. if you do, then what i said about the horse shoe MUST be true. if i were you i would start saving for the increased insurance rates if you don't get dropped.

Correction - you mean it was the first time you got caught.

The question now is, will it have any effect on your driving habits?

who do i think i am? i think i am someone who mature enough to know how to drive properly, someone mature enough not to be afraid of my dad like a little girl, someone who doesnt whine and make up excuses for my actions, and someone who thinks before he does....

and finally.. i am someone who isnt going to be raped by insurance like you are...

have a good day, and i hope others learn from your stupidity, because obviously you havent learned a single thing..

He'll learn when he can't drive anymore. Which sounds like will happen very soon.

i still don't understand why you had 2 people driving cars they're not insured on, instead of one. and why you weren't going to the hospital if he thought his foot was broken.
care to explain why?

No one is saying they are angels and you are evil, everyone made mistakes. You made yours, own up to it and face the consequences. You sound really childish thinking you deserve a further break. Face it, you don;t. You didnt even deserve the break you got when you got pulled over, becase you knew the rules of the road and you made a commitment to follow them by accepting your licence (and yes, it is a privlidge, not a right).

Some people learn from thinking, some people learn from consequences, and you will pay for those lives you endangered on that day. Whether you end up in the same situation again depends on you, and right now you dont sound too remorseful. You sound bitter that you got cought.

I know that road very well. That area is a RESIDENTIAL ZONE.

If you fight this in court you're going to lose. If I was you I'd look for a 2nd or 3rd job just to pay for next year's renewal on insurance.
