Ownership Question

So i bought a civic not 2 long ago, but before i got a chance to change the ownership, i decided to sellt he car. So the ownership is still in the original owners name. But he filled out theb ack of the ownership paper with my information. So is there anything i cna do so i dont have to pay the taxes AND the next person. ( i never drove the car with the ownership in the other persons name, iv only had the car a couple weeks but had a change of plans)

tax evasion is a crime

I don't think you can avoid it in a private sale.

Call MTO and ask them about the details, that is your only safe bet.

gotot the mintsry and ask for a sticky back for the ownership, say you made a error. Dont bring the ownership with you

Just fill it out to the buyer, dont bother

Once you sell it, your not legally responsible for the car becuase you never "owned " it persay
