get it fixed, pick option 4 on the ticket, go to interview with prosecuter, show him/her the receipt... done.

i say just pay ur ticket and get if over with.. no point taking the day off to go to court and sit there and wait and lose a days pay and pay the ticket.. just pay it and get it over with

That's a myth.

They don't need a Db reading to convict you for improper muffler or unnecessary noise. There are no maximim Db levels specified in the HTA.

very true... unnecessary noise can be proved by the officer's opinion.... if your muffler IS legal... get the papers showing it is legal in ontario. otherwise go plead you are a student. they will drop the fine to a lower price/fee.
next time. don't be a dick to the guy either.
