Old Lady Smashed My Delsol On The Way To Yesterdays Meet (Pictures) *NEW PICS!!*

well this sucks.... im in a huge war with the insurance now because they came and they're trying all this **** not to cover anything because its modified.. and if they do right it off its only gonna be for like $5000 book value if that... all this shlt cause a fu(ken old lady decided to hit me... i dunno my car is at the bodyshop now cause the insurance wants them to take off the fender and take it all apart to see what its like.. i dont get it first they're saying they arent covering anything then they want to see what its like first... then after the whole argument they said if by chance they do end up fixing it, as soon as its fixed there dropping me from there policy... im so stressed out right now... i dont even know what todo anymore... its like $5800 a year right now for insurance anyway... and thats when they thought it was stock... even if someone does insure it its gonnna be like $9000 a year... the only good news so far is that the frame isnt bent... i really dont know what todo anymore.. i may end up just fixing it and selling it... which i really really really dont want todo... i wanna boost it... grrrr now im just rambling on... fu(k it im gone to smoke a phatty...

Oh by the way I put together a quick page on my server for my friends and family that do not go on these boards so i do not have to explain over and over what happened.. they can just go read.. i added a few things.. anyway thanks again for the support and ill get some more pics up soon....

Ok well the last couple days have been pretty ruff. I was on the way to pickup this girl hailie that was coming with me to the TCC meet yesterday and the trip to her house was pretty bad lets just say that. I was heading down a road in pickering called rosebank at around 7:30pm doing about 45km/hour with no stop signs and no stop lights on the road just cruising.. this was in a residential area no main roads. anyways im driving down the road and all of a sudden literally right before i pass this lady in her car she turns right in front of me like she wasnt even looking at the road. I SLAMMED on the brakes but it was way to late for that.. She smashed into the side of my car hard.. right between the front driver side fender and the driver door.. blew of my tire and broke my rim... all i remember was a big big BANG... once i came out of shock i got out ran over to see if she was ok (she was 72years old) and all of a sudden she gets out yelling at me saying it was my fault.. thats when i snapped.. I went up to the people that were in all 3 cars behind her and asked who they though was at fault and every one of them said she was. even with her yelling at them they were still telling her it was her fault. Anyways i got all there names and phone numbers and proceeded to call 911.. I requested a police officer to the scene so there was no despute later on who's fault it was because if it was my fault i wouldnt be covered for anything under my insurance.. The cop came and analyzed the situation and determinded it was 100% her fault. He even said quote "Lady listen calm down, it was your fault no question about it". She proceeded to argue and yell at him.. anyway to rap it up i have some pretty bad back injuries that I am going after her insurance company for and have already been to many doctors and lawyers about this matter. I talked to my insurance company today and they had already spoke with her insurance company. They told me that her insurance company had taken full responsibility and would cover everything. Im just glad that the frame doesnt appear to be bent at all thank god but just to make sure its going to some special shop on monday where they put it on a machine and the computers check everything out to make sure its all straight.. If everything is still straight ill go about getting everything fixed and throw in a few extra things this time lol..

hey bud sorry to hear bout that, such a nice car too, but ur alright and metal./glass/paint can be fixed...

Yea i was on my way to meet marco and after it happened i called and let him know... anyway how i look at it, it could have been alot alot worse... i could have died or something ye know... thanks for the support seriously man i wanted to beat the shlt out of the person, look at my car but then i saw it was an old lady and i couldnt do anything.. 
im glad though because if it was a guy i would have been charged with assualt because of the heat of the moment...
djxquizit- thanks alot man ill let you know monday when the delsol goes back to D&A and they talk to my insurance... im good friends with the owner so he's gonna throw in some extra things and make it worth while...
Cablerat- no man, no intercooler... I have most of my turbo stuff and i was turbo'ing it really really soon but this set me back a bit and i needed money for school... hopefully the lady's insurance company settles with me and i can finally boost it, and pay for school..
Double_B- yea i thought the diagram was a nice touch lol...
anyways ill be out to a meet in about 4 weeks hopefully if everything goes well... with it all back to normal... with a few new extra's

you guys think my rim will be bent?? not sure what exact konig it is but its one of the light weights... 10-12lbs... right where she hit it hard where the tire tore up and exploded theres a chip on the rim... im getting them to buy me a new rim anyway but im just woundering if these rims warp easy??

Hey Tyler.......sorry to hear about that, that freaking sucks ....cant beleive that happened, but in the end u will be better off then b4, thats usually how these situations work out!....as long as ur fine in the end who care about the car man, it can be replaced but your life or ability to function 100% cant!
