Notice of Interview

i have just been notified by the ministry of transportation that i need to attend interview to show cause why my driver's license should not be suspended.

this is due to having 3 speeding tickets within the last 2 years.. so it would be suspension under Demerit Point System..

QUESTION

Has anyone ever been to one of these interviews??
if yes,
Wat kind of things are asked or is required to be provided by myself?

please describe in detailed wat happend wen u went thru it.. and wat the end result was.. i just want to know wat to prepare myself for so it doesnt result in suspension..

thanks

Yup, been to one of those before when I was a young punk. Don't sweet it. The guy that I chatted with was super cool. Just be respectful of the fact that you have been an idiot and explain that to the guy. 3 tickets in 2 years is not good in their eyes, so say you see that now and you have already changed your ways.

If they were going to take your licence they would have aleady...just don't go in their with a chip on your shoulder like they are doing you wrong. Admit it and make a change.

I got something similar to this in my foolish younger days, although for me, they made me re-do my driver's test. Anyhow, I passed the re-test and no problems or foolishness since.

If I were you, I would just admit that you screwed up and that you have learned your lesson. Also be very respectful to the person interviewing you. Good luck.

I agree with HAPPY..

I too have been to one of these "interviews".

Dress professionally speak proper english if you can.

Don't swear or blame anyone else but yourself.

Admit these all were huge mistakes in judgement the past.

Not only did you risk your life but others as well..

Also note that you are paying insurance throught the roof because of it.

Say you need car for to make a living.

Say you have dependants who rely on you for travel (Grandparents, your uncle with no legs, etc etc)

Be repentant but don't be an *** licker..

I agree with what 94EG6HB said. If you act like a punk, u'll lose ur license. Just show maturity and act emberassed about ur old driving habits. It might also be a good idea to take the interview seriously and slow down when ur driving. No one needs to get hurt because you wanna see how fast you can drive. Save that for a track.

Sorry, not busting ur ***** here but if anything ever happened, you'll know it wasnt worth it...if ur still alive

I had one of those once... I never showed up, and I think I slipped through the cracks. Luckily that was like 5 years ago... there must be some sort of statute of limitation on **** like that.
