NOT GUILTY (my day in court)

i knwo this post is long but trust me i am already cuttin the story short.

as many of you may already know i had a court date this morning and things went really well so here is the whole story...

Ok a few months ago I was doing a spring install in my garage on a camry (for those of you that know ratco or go on toyota nation it was his camry and they were EURO H&R' blacks). Jeff, Ratco, Brandon, miso and i started our work at 9 pm and we figuredd that we could get it done by 11 but with out a spring compressor we ran into alot of obstacles. Expecting to enter some of our cars (two celi's and two camry's) in the toyota show-off the next day we had planned to go to a party around 11 and then after the party go pull an all nighter so we could wax and prep all of our cars so they would be fully pimped for the show.

At about 11 we had only gotten one spring finished and the second one was disassembled but we were having alot of problems loading te springs. It was around then that Dave called (DAKSGT) he was in etobicoke and he was goign to pick up his girlfriend to go to the party and we were all oging to meet there. Seeing that my girlfriend (heather) lived close to his house I asked him to pick her up too so I wouldn't have to make so many trips. Then about an hour later i hear that the three of them have arived at the party and we are just getting the second strut back into the car.

Ratco took a look at the car and seeing that we had now dropped the front two fenders the lookwas pretty good. We were all getting tired and we decided that this wasn't a job that should be done with out the proper tools (which one of us should have got at canadian tire for free) and that seeing that his two door camry required the compleate removal of the rear seat to access the tops of the pillars in the rear it was time to call it a night on this project and get to the party.

Brandon and his date were going to go spend some "together time" so we said that we would see him the next day and that he should have a good night. then it begun we hopped into our respective cars (two camrys, a celi and a teg) and we began our trip. As i start the engine my girlfriend calls and tell me that there is a group of guys there bothing her and some of the other guests and that these guys were NOT invited to this party. VROOMMMMMmmm I gun it. we fly down winston churchill and get from my house to the 403 doing about 120 the whole way and it seemed as if every time I went through an intersection the light was yellow. we got to the 403 and all threee of us brough our speeds up to about 170 kmph. I hadn't been to the house that the party was at but the directions were very simple. first left, then first right, and then first right again. i would have been there in minutes but now moving at about 180 and about to pass under a bridge i see a car sitting in the shadow of an overpass. I brake lightly. my radardetector INSTANTLY goes to 5 bars. I down shift. I have a tag beep (the sound a detector makes when you have been pinged) i look at the speedo, 160 kmph. **** THIS
I try to assess the situation and i see that the integra i travle with is slighty behind infront of me and excelerating. I think back to the days in highschool. Rule number one of dealing with cops they can't arrest us all! Then it hit me. one of the dumbest thoughts in my life. I look down. i see a red cover and i flip it up. now i see a chrome switch. i flip it on and WOOSH! As the nitrous hits the engine i feel a significant pull. 180, 190, I change lanes and get off to the right (there was no traffic). 200, 210 I see the exit. 220, I look back in the rear view and I have nearly lost sight of the cop and the integra flew py me and I now had an easy 20 car lengths on them both. I exit and turn right off the highway. as i do this i look back and there in no one behind me. i make the next right and as i turn the corner i see the integra has just gotten off the highway. sliding corners i get into a domestic area and park on a dead end street with no lights. i shut off the engine and walk away from the car. as i am just gettin up the street the integra pulls up right behind me and the cop followed him right to my car.

well lets just say from there it got crazy.

I told the cop about the party and he challenged me to call the peel poliece to the party. So I couldn't let him call my bluff and I did. He then believed that i meant business and that I was sincerly trying to get to my girlfriend (not all cops are jerks this one was SUPER cool he saw my suspention, radar detector and nos and didn't even care.)

I was given two Summons's by the cop (even though i deserved like 10)

-161 in a 100kmph zone
-failure to stop for an officer

These are poth serious offences and one is punishable by jail.

So today i was in court for the whole thing and i walked on one and reduced the other. I ended up with a ticket for 139 in a 100 and 3 points.

Still a ticket but no big deal and get this it dosn't even effect my insurance!!!

The moral of the story...
Don't spray on cops and you won't have tickets cause if i just pulled over he prolly would let me go.

So...you defended yourself? 139/100 is 4 points....

Did you mean 129/100???? (3points)

We were all getting tired and we decided that this wasn't a job that should be done with out the proper tools (which one of us should have got at canadian tire for free)
Did the same thing, easier with proper tools.

Why is it that cops are ********, ONLY when YOU get caught?

You are the one breaking the law....not him.
