NEON light? DOOR handels? what's the deal?
Guys about a week ago in my mall there was the OPP PACER PROGRAM..."the team to teach people about street racing"
And i asked them a couple of questions i wanted too clear up...
Hope you guys might be intrested in this.
Q1-- Are neon underbody lights illegal?
A1-- from what i was told by them they are not illegal unless they are flashing.
for example a flashing blue light is for snow plow so we can't have it flashing on our cars.
Q2-- Are neon interior lights illegal?
A2-- No they are not illegal the only reason you can get a ticket for them is if it's too bright and glares off your windsheild, If it does this then you can't see clearly so its illegal. But having one light is ok
Q3-- Do you need Door Handles?
A3-- Yes its illegal not too have door handels unless your car comes factory with-out Example convertable.
Its basicly just in-case you get into an accident that's serious and someone passing by trys to get you out of the car.
**This one i don't really agree with because most of us drive with our doors locked anyways, so then it wouldn't really matter if we have handles or not!
Most Important -- if you get a ticket for neon underbody lights its your job to fight it in court.
All this is based on i was informed of by one of the main guys in the Pacer Program, its basicly just for your information

This is the EXACT same thing I've been saying ever since the first "are neon lights illegal" thread was posted.
Why some of you guys seem to be so bull headed at times, is beyond me.
Flashing blue is supposed to signify a slow moving vehicle......and that why you ususally see it on a vehicle used in snow removal.........and not just plows.
I wish you guys would read up on the HTA a little bit more......and if you do get a ticket for something you know is legal...........just take the ticket with a smile, and then fight it in court later.
Get edjumicated.
