Need some help with court date

I received a parking ticket last july in toronto . I went to court to file a court date , i was told that i should wait up to six months for them to send me a court date to my house.. Its been almost six months and i have not received anything ... I was also told that if i dont received anything within six months i should not worry ..

I m a little worry that they send it to the wrong address , however i did writte the correct address in the form i filled !

I'm still waiting on my court date, and just renewed my license and bought personalised plates with no issue.
