Need Info: Insurance Companies/Brokers/Agents
I have been searching the forum for a good list of insurance companies but have been disappointed. I am looking for a Canadian insurance company that legally allows mods.
For example:
1) Change tires/wheels eg. 18" on one that is stock 16"
2) Adjust/Modify Suspension (ie. lower vehicle)
If anyone knows any Insurance companies, Brokers or agents that will insure moded vehicles I would appreciate it if you could post the name/contact info.
Thanks !
Confirmed No Mods Allowed:
-The Personal
-Scottish and York
-State Farm
Confirmed Mods Allowed:
-AllState (very pricy)
-PCFinancial (will cover up to $1500.00 and anything over that needs an appriasal, so they can insure at value)
-Meloche Monnex (vehicle must be inspected)
-CAA (vehicle must be inspected)

Just curious as to what people are paying for insurance? I'm paying $300 /month for myself as an occasional driver and my mom on the same car. When it's time to renew, I'm hoping for $250/month as a primary driver through group discount with Molche Monnex. Or group insurance from where I work. Group discount is the way to go
