Long story short... I smashed the front end of my freshly kitted/painted car due to road conditions!!!

too angry to explain the full story.... but i gotta claim insurance

has anyone ever claimed insurance on a car that has a kit and a paint job that isnt stock?????

cause I fucked the front end of my car up nice and I need to get a new front bumper and some re-molding done... but my paint is pearl so im curious if they might have to repaint the whole car.


any help in this matter would mean more then u know to me!! and i'll hopefully have pictures of the damage up soon!!

call in for claim
they will tell u to either drop it of at their place or yours.
make shure u say u wanna ge tit done at ur place.
take it to the place that did your painjob initially and then when the adjuster comes tell the bodyshop guys to tell him that its a special colour etc... and you should be fine.
They wont repaint the entire car. All they do is give you an estimate for the damage and within that money you do watever.
Usually the estimates tend to be high anyways so you should worry.
Just rememeber premiums will go up for shure and i believe its not worth it because it will be in your record forever

i *think* on my moms 'van, she is allowed to report 2 claims in a 3 year span before the rates go up
