Need Help....
 
Well on Dec 9th 2002 i was just driving along minding my own bus. doing the limit and i was making a left at a stop sign...
thing is i didnt see the cop.. so i rolled thru it...
then i was just driving down the street and he puts on his cherrys and i was like FU*K.. so he comes out of the car... a new guy... and asks for my papers... no prob..
he comes back in like 5 min.. (QUICK FU*KER HUH???)
with not only 1 ticket but 2 tickets... i was like what the..
so hes telling me that 1 was for rolling the sign.. and i was just like well i'm pretty sure i stoped for it..
and he disagred (What can you do) and the other was for not having the little sticker in my ownership that matches the plate number...
110 each ticket...
I dunno if there are any points or anything....
but the stupid thing is the date aint untill NOV 9th or somthing??
soo far away... you guys think he'll show up since its such a long time maybe he'll forget or somthing???
i wanna call someone to help me... i REALLY dont want any tickets...anyone i can call ??? i could use a phone number too PLEASE... it really gets me nerves these guys... :cry: i hate it...
What are my chances of winning?? any help would be super...

Hey, for the stop sign, I'm not sure how you can prove your word against the cop's word. They normally will believe the cop; If I were you, I'd plead guilty with an explanation, and say that to your conscience, you came to a complete stop, and the cop might have not seen it, or there might have been a confusion. They will surely reduce the fine.

For the second ticket, I got off the same type of ticket. Put the sticker on your ownership, take it to court; talk to the officer and the prosecutor...show them that you've put the sticker on, and tell them that you NEVER knew about it, and now that you did, you would like that ticket to be treated just as a warning, and you fulfilled that warning, and corrected the problem. In my case, the charge was dropped.

The same day i got the ticket i went down to the ministrey and the sticker damn thing cost my 7 bucks GRRRR....
but oh well... i'll see about that then....
but i really want to get all off the stop sign thing..
