last summer i got a ticket for headlights the cop sais they are coloured but they are not they are bright its those xenons, how can i defend myself ??????

A few arguments to defend yourself with:

- get the packaging if it says "DOT approved" or "street legal". A mislabelled product is a good way to shift fault
- colour on the bulbs surface doesn't matter. DOT approved bulbs like CoolBlue's, Silverstars, etc. have a blue coating on them.

... that's all i have. If the charge is that the bulbs are blue, then you'll have a hard time fighting the ticket, unless you get off for some other reason. Being really sorry and poor helps..
