My dad's insurance is 5.5K for a 2002 CRV

Help? There was 1 At Fault Accident (Damn pedestrians don't ******* cross when it doesn't have a white guy), my dad rearend the guy in front when he stopped due to pedestrians. Another one when a lady reversed out of the driveway, my dad tboned it, usually police comes 3-4hours if no one is injured so my dad just grabbed the info and left to the laywer (in a rush). So a few months ago we purchased / trade for a 2002 CR-V and now it is 5.5K, My dad is like 45 years old, had his license since 87 no tickets, just 2 at fault (supposedly 1) accident.

2 at fault accidents is border line already. When he gets his third at fault.. he'll be lucky to get under $20000/yr insurance man.

There's nothing you can do about it.

His age would let him have lower insurance. But having 2 accidents drives it through the roof.

If I got into 2 accidents (being under 25).. I would have my license suspended long ago.

There's really nothing you can do about 5.5 k. That's relatively cheap for 2 at fault accidents that happened recently.

If you're at fault.. your insurance company pays out all the repairs amounts... usually

Sounds like your dad might be in the high risk pool of insurance companies now due to the 2 at fault accidents. If you have a lot of accidents or traffic tickets you can wind up in a high risk pool, which is basically a group of only a few companies that will insure "high risk" drivers. If thats the case, there isn't much you can do as the few companies in the pool will all charge you about the same. I know this from experience as I was once in the high risk pool a long time ago during my younger more foolish days.
