mods and insurance
searched but couldnt really find anything
if u mod ur car.. ie springs and rims in my case...
are you obligated to tell the insurance company about
the mods you have made?
is it illegal not to inform them?

depends on the mods really...if u have motor work/swap done tell em cuz if they ever write your car off they wont take that into consideration and just **** you over that way...and for exterior mods u should tell em too...somebody rear ends u and messes ur bumper up...they will only cover for an oem one...either way I only have liability and I always take the salvage of the car...part it out and make more money back!

If you swap your engine, you basically hve to tell them, and have all the relivant paperwork...If you have any type of claim, the first thing the apprasier checks, beside the damage is the serial# on the engine, and if it doesn't match, he will ask a couple of questions .....
