Depends who your insured with, some companies could care less (Pilot, Co-op) some will cancel you right away (State Farm, Allstate, Economical)

depends on the mods really...if u have motor work/swap done tell em cuz if they ever write your car off they wont take that into consideration and just **** you over that way...and for exterior mods u should tell em too...somebody rear ends u and messes ur bumper up...they will only cover for an oem one...either way I only have liability and I always take the salvage of the car...part it out and make more money back!

ya but you only have 2 eyes and you might think you are a good drive but what about the one time the person behind you looks away or goes to answer the stupid cell, and BANG there front bumper has become your new conversion, so don't say that there is always that one chance
these are my 2 cents

im not really worried about getting my mods covered in case of an accident
its was worried that the insurace company could drop me all together and not cover any damages at all in case of an accident

yea...well I got hit 2 times in 4 months and both cars were a write off and both not my fault...and trust me, you do want your mods covered by insurance...I had a ZC in my black civic and when I told them that it had a new motor in it the guy said this to me "no it doesnt!" I was gonna reach through the phone and strangle him...so I just bought the salvage rights to the car ($200) and they gave my $1800 as a settlement for it...insurance usually drops people with modifications on their cars that are already "bad drivers"

If you swap your engine, you basically hve to tell them, and have all the relivant paperwork...If you have any type of claim, the first thing the apprasier checks, beside the damage is the serial# on the engine, and if it doesn't match, he will ask a couple of questions .....
