What do insurance companies consider minor convictions?

I got a couple of tickets last nov (fighting it but still waiting for court date) for an "improper exhaust" and a "broken horn".

Assuming I lose the trial and I pay up, do insurance companies use that as justification for jacking up my rates?

Also, I have a performance exhaust that was overly loud due to a broken cat (the honeycomb structure broke apart). I replaced the cat and got a silencer and got a horn replaced. Does any body have experience with courts dropping said tickets if you prove you've fixed the problems?

Thanks for the link man. Read the pdf, cleared up a lot of stuff.

But who are these guys? I went to the main page and tried to read the "about us" link but I'm none too good with this kind of stuff. Are they an insurance company themselves? If so, then the pdf may or may not apply depending on which insurance company that you are with.
