Thumbs down Kinda pissed.........

I don't know if I am the only one that is having trouble here, but I can't find cheap insurance for the life of me

I'm 23 with no claims, no tickets, no accidents, nothing @#$! and yet for basic coverage they charge me 350 bucks a mth for a 97 EL This is the cheapest rate I could find, others were well up into the 500's and all of the other insurance groups wouldnt take me because I am in a high risk area...

They should have a special insurance for import car drivers!!!!

Anyway can someone guide me to a cheaper insurance agency?

350 mth, in the hamilton area??

I could see that being possible in Scarborough, but damn that's horrible..

By basic coverage, do you mean liability only?

try pc financial insurance. you can do a quote online to see what comes up.

http://www.pcinsurance.ca/auto_insurance.asp

my monthly payment was $100 less with them.

Try RBC insurance. I switched from Liberty Mutual to them and saved 2400.00 a year! Also I have 2 cars, an accident (a big one) and a ticket. Go to www.rbc.ca (i think) and click on the links for insurance. They will give you an online quote and a code for it.. then call the office and buy the policy with the code and BAM the rate is locked in and you are done. Their office is open 8-8 for convience too and you can pay with VISA like I do and rack up your points!

I know this may sound like a weird place to get insurance from, but honestly, go to TD Bank (or www.melochemonnex.com) same company, they have a toll free number on their site. My insurance went from $247 a month with State Farm... those ******, to 75.88 a month, until I turned 25... now its 64.77 with full coverage on a integra GSR... well worth the look man... seriously

from my dealings with insurance companies, i find that banks like rbc and td offer some of the lowest rates out there. i'm sure you can do better than $350 per month with your flawless record. good luck.

What does it mean by "basic coverage"? Does it mean that they won't cover costs if you hit someone? ... If someone hits you?... Theft?... Medical ?

^^^ I had insurance with them before, yes.

They are a broker not an insurance company...they deal with companies like perth, kingsway, etc.

My insurance with them was like 1/4 what it was with state farm, but now I have group insurance at work so im even happier.
