just a tip

Found out today that traffic tickets are actually dated from the date of CONVICTION, not the date the offence occured. My broker called me back to let me know that all 3 of my tickets are still on my insurance but it didn't make any difference in the price. So, next time you get a ticket, make sure it's worth going to court for. Especially if it's in a busy court system that will take like 6-12 months to get a court date in. Otherwise your ticket will take a lot longer to expire.

also since its from time of conviction you can spare yourself a year if the ticket court date is after your insurance renewal date...that way insurance dont know about the ticket till the following year
