dont worry....the internet makes ppl say things that they wont say to you in real life. and probably, the folks who start flaming others on every opportunity are the ones who themselves make the same mistakes, are jelous or just immature enough to do such a thing. i call them keyboard warriors

What makes me think you're a moron is that the thought of running even crossed your mind.

Fine you raced, hopefully there weren't pedestrians around and IF something happened, no innocent people would have been hurt.

But when you saw the cop, why even think about trying to run? I'm glad you changed your mind, and you're lucky he didn't arrest you, because you'd still be booked for the racing as well.

Hopefully you did learn a lesson about racing. Go have your day in court. Hire a lawyer. Good luck!

(By the way, you'll probably not get away from the points)

There are a lot of keyboard warriors on the net.

Your lucky you didn't your car taken away from you and yes I've driven faster than 120km/hr in an 80km/hr zone. Come to think of it I've driven faster than 220km/hr in an 80 zone.

yeah back in young and stupid days. I was having a little fun with an XRS Matrix out in the reals sticks. ie. Not even a power line on the road let a lone a house @ 2 am. My car could've gone faster, but I chickened out. Cause I thought wow if I got pulled over... my bumhole would be about the same size of a manhole cover.

Would I go that fast now? Maybe on a closed tracked. On the street? Not a fat chance. Now I don't care about going fast.

Advice? Don't race!

You can take it to court, but don't expect leniency from the system on a careless charge, especially after they see the notes on the ticket.

If you really want real advice, call a lawyer, not x-copper.
