Just got quoted...
So I've been looking into insurance for a 2004 Mustang Mach 1.... I'm 23, and have a speeding ticket of 75 in a 50 on May 31, 2002.
I just got quoted $660/month haha WTF is wrong with these ppl. For that monthly payment I can buy ANOTHER Mustang (prolly a Bullet or a regular GT for that price).
Most other companies failed to provide quotes... some ask for an appointment, some are not even able to provide a quote... and ones online all reject me. RBC did quote me $305/month, which is acceptable I guess. if you can call $3660/year acceptable for someone who hasn't had any claims or accidents or suspensions in the past... well since I started driving in January 1997. That's fuct!

the sad thing is you probley wont get that 305 a month.....do your parents have anything on there driving record? i got told 429 a month for a 4 door civic with 2 tickets then they told me they cant offer anything to me because my dad has a lot of tickets

25 and over is when you get a big insurance break... until then, don't even bother.
That's the only reason why I own a civic to tell you the truth, cheapest thing with respect to insurance.

that actually surprises me, bb ur in the windsor area right? or am i wrong.....meh i dunno, but if u are....do ppl claim a lot of things on their insurance?, i've never been to windsor personally so i dunno what it's like but still given ur location....that'z really surprising to me. 660 per month is wacky tabacky.

Let's be honest, 20 something guys in Mustangs are a horrible insurance risk. You push that car too far and the end result isn't mild understeer like with a Civic, it's tailswapping time. I know everyone will hop on and say that if you drive it properly it's fine but 80% of people can't drive worth a damn so thats what the insurance company has to assume. Anything with 8 cylinders is going to mean high insurance for those under 25. Hmmm, I wonder what I'd be quoted on a Mach 1, I might check that later. I'm 26 so it should be a little cheaper.
