im sure you can answer my question. I just got a fail to obey sign ticket which is two points, if i take it to court and knock off the points how does insurance companies see this? I got fail to obey traffic light (3 points) and a 15km over (0 points) already Do insurance base there premium on demerit points?

They look at your MVR (motor vehicle report) usually every renewal to see how you have been driving ... If these things are on your report then they may adjust your rate based on the amount of demerit points you have ... They don't base your rate on this, but yes it does effect it.....
