140 for a 4 door honde civic se full coverage under my dads name, my nome is nowhere in that slip

I had an accident when i was 19 i hit a parked car in the parking lot and scratched the back door and it was reported to the insurance, now im 24 , however if i would put the car under my name my insurance would be 530$ for the same car with a 5 years G license. A ripped off if you ask me .

my advice is to put the car under your parents name and drive like a grandma unless you want to fvk up your parents insurance too

I am under my dads insurance on my own car primary driver on it and the car is in my name, im 19 and its a 2000 ek coupe. 200 a month for me.

Mine was just under $200 for an EG with full coverage. But that was eons ago. I guess that doesn't help you any.

$116 a month

4 door civic

I agreed to have a box in the car which watches when you drive, how much you drive, and percentage of time spend over 120km/h...I'd rather follow some basic rules and save coin..

this sounds more familiar.

Trybal 15-Jan-2008 11:18 AM

holy!..sounds like murder!

im 25, driving a 94 civic cx, paying $84/month for full coverage with the granding touring package (which allows me to drive anyone elses car and be fully insured). almost lost my license when i was 19 :S
the reason why it's so cheap is because i live in northern ontario and the car is insured as a pleasure vehicle
when i was 18..and had the 97 POS golf td...one accident later i was paying $550/month

Elite insurance or something...I found them on that www.kanetix.ca/ website...plugs into your OBD2 port, every 4 months you un plug it and hook it up to your computer and upload the results...

its % of time over 120, I guess if they find your spending too much time over 120, they can raise your rates, or drop you...they can't report you to the cops...
