when I was 17 or 18 (many years ago) State Farm wanted $575 a month ($6000 a year) while I was going to College for my 90' Civic HB dx. I had a Clean record. That's not very forgiving for students/young people.

There are lots of factors which contribute to why they quoted you that price. It is hard to say why when you don't know all of the details.

Driving while young is overall expensive. When kids buy cars they always forgot to include the amount of insurnace on top of the car price. Insurance comes with buying a car... its unavoidable.

stay away from td ..plain and simple yes they are cheap BUT I had....HAD insurance through them and was all good than they told me that i had to bring my car to an inspection ...so i did a month later ,I got a letter saying CANCELED lol .I asked could i just take the rims off and come back they said "yes but not with this car",(even though they are honda rims)....
Auto insurance - Desjardins call them<---..but this time around your car has been returned to stock .....you have cheap insurance .No driving school ,one ticket,20 years old g2 175$ a month
