Is insurance required for G1 ?
My cuz got his G1 on Sat and wants to drive my car. I read somewhere on the net that you have to inform your insurance company of the new driver (if its someone in your family), however can a G1 driver drive anybody's car without insurance (as long as they are with an experienced driver who is insured on that car) ?

Not to sure about this one...But I do know that the car being driven needs to be insured and the driver has to have a valid insurance policy...Thats why anyone who has insurance can drive any insured car...

the experienced driver has to have at least four years experience which is shown on your drivers licence with white dots on a red band at the bottom of your picture on your licence - and no, the g1 driver does not have to be listed on the insurance or pay any premium - keep in mind that if that g1 driver has an at fault accident it will be rated against the responsible driver in the passenger seat.

How long have you had your lic for? If you renewed your DL before 4 years, then you will have to wait until you renew again before you see them.....unless you go in to get a replacement, because you want to, or need to, because you lost yours.

Thats why anyone who has insurance can drive any insured car...
This means:
ANYONE can unsure ANYONES car, including your own. ANYONE can drive AS LONG as the POLICY OWNER KNOWS and agrees. BUT, WHOEVER drives the car, ANY or ALL claims will go against the policy owner-no exceptions, except one.
Stolen vechicle.
Ever wonder why insurace companys ask how many licenced drivers are in the house? Because they dont want to pay for the claim when you burrow your moms car and smash it up, and then your mom cant say you stole it. (leaving your mom fucked)
Over all its the policy owner is the one who gets screwed no matter who drove the car.
In no way will your insurance company pay for **** if your driving another car, smash it up, and its not registered with them.
I hope this clears it up.
