Insurance prices

I'm new to this forum so i dont know if this is already stickied or posted somewhere but ill ask anyway

I want to buy a civic hatch in the near future but im worried my insurance is going to cost way too much. i cant be sure which year model ill be driving but im on a budget so its probably gonna be earlier 90s

so i thought id ask what people on here's insurance is like

I am 17, will be driving with a g2 with maybe a couple months of experience, and i doubt i will have any tickets by the time i buy a car. Ive done driving school. if anyone is in roughly the same boat, i was wondering if they could fill me in on what their insurance costs them monthly.

I was also wondering if having a vtec also raises your insurance.

17 , G2 , civic = high insurance

Depending on where you live and the company you are with , you are looking at roughly 280 a month to 700 a month (maybe even more)...

Best way to find out is go online and get a quote .... or call them and ask

You could always put the car under your dads name and be a secondary driver

When I was 17, I was asked to pay $6000 a year, on my 90 Civic DX ($900). Clean license, and G2.

Good luck! Try searching the Forums next time, too.

My dad has 3 cars and my brother is a secondary driver in one of them ... Also my best friends dad has like 5 cars ... But they have 2 cars with one company and the other ones with a different company ... thats all I know..

And there was a claim with my best friend , since he totalled one of the cars and insurance cover it ,...
