Insurance?
#22
Wassup Guys, my first post here on the TCC.
Insurance premiums are again, on the rise in 2003. For those of you that have insurance renewing in March - May of this year will have a wonderful surprise waiting for you. Why? Companies have been increasing their rates all of last year; you won't be seeing the increases until you receive your renewal package in the mail.

yeah i know what u're talking about!!! I was paying 590 dollars a month...no convictions or accidents on record...my renewal notice came, and it's jacked to 850 a month for no reason! It's absolutely ridiculous!!! I'm shopping for insurance again.

Yup, it's sad. I know. That was with Echelon General, and they really increased their rates. With Facility, I got a new quote of $477 a month after telling them I have one conviction, which didn't show up on echelon's record. Now I feel more comfortable. Also, that $850 was with a 1500 collision deductable, and 500 comp. The new quote from Facility is 500 deductable for both. Better deal, eh?

$198/month before 4 tickets: 141km in 100km zone on the 404, red light running, non-sticker renewal, 130km in 80km zone...now it's $217/month and they know about all of them..I'm primary driver/owner everything..I'm with Henry J Verstratten in Barrie. I have had quotes of $10 000/ year from State Farm. 93 Civic Coupe Si. I was also wrongfully kicked off once because they thought my spoiler and paint job were aftermarket - they are both stock; factory LED spoiler and original Milano Red.
