i don't understand. they want pics, so let them take them. if you don't want the insurance company knowing about them then return the car to stock and leave it like that. it's easier if you tell them in the beginning because if you get in an accident and they find out about the modifications, they'll raise your rates or drop you

Your insurance company requested pics and *WILL* mostly drop you if you don't submit them.

Most guys will take there liscence plates off when there at the track becaues Insurance Companies (not too often will) attend track meets and will not insure a car after it has been seen racing.

They can use that against you later on and deny coverage if you ever need to claim something as you failed to inform them of changes done to your car...

Also, did they ask you to go to one of their certified agents to have the pics taken? If they didn't I am surprised....because some people will do exactly what you are suggesting.

just take pics from far away.. throw some steelies on it or something.

Just take pics from the side, not front and chances are they wont even see the CF hood/headlights.. I doubt they will notice its lowered with a lip kit. Which will be really all they can see.

Goodluck!

you need to realize that there is no way out of this. it is better for you to own up and tell them that your car is modified because in the end, you only risk your whole driving career.

go back to stock on certain stuff
lips are ok
headlights are ok
but the cf hood and rims, change them back... lowered is fine too

take a pic, but not in the best condition, but not like at night that is dark and blurry...

try to be honest upto a certain the degree.... if they ask you for pics suddenly, they probably knew you had some mods... but for rims and hood, you can always deny and say you had them on for awhile for fun... and its normal to change rims when you don't like it...

if your car is black, you can leave the cf hood on, coz if you don't take a perferct pic, you can't tell a huge difference... hopefully it'll blur a bit to make the cf pattern look black =)

I had no problem with my insurance company and my mods, I told them everything and the cost of it all, my insurance went up a little but not enough to make it crazy, they were fine with it Just be honest, thats the best thing to do.

If you don't have another hood to replace the cf just claim your original hood got dented by something and found a black one in the junk yard to replace it with... rims are ez to go back to stock put your winters on or something and your set

projectors are fine
no biggies on that
Exhaust is probably only thing i could think of cause thast usually what most cops crack people down for... even if your low cops don't care that much unless ur tucking hardcore.... they usually pull you over for loud exhuasts (dtp)

i called my broker and he told me that they dont care about rims or the hood... it is more the exhaust and it being lowered... my buddy has the identiccal car as me but its stock and i think i will use parts from his car cuz i dont have stock rims or steelies.

They dropped me after pics taken.

So, borrow some stock parts and return it to stock is your best bet.

Good Luck.

Why would they ask you to take pics all of a sudden?
Sometimes, cops are out there to take down licence plates for souped up cars. Then they will give the insurance company a list of high-risk cars on the road. Then insurance company will kindly ask you to take some pics of your car to verify the police report. If they found that you do have a modified car. They will only give you 2 weeks to find another insurance company.

If you can't gather any stock parts. I suggest you start looking for another insurance company.

Insurance

i dont see why you guys are having all of these problems my insurance company needed pics. So i sent them not thinking the worst and im fine now, i even took pics of the engine bay where they could clearly see my Zex controller box and nitrous lines. I havent had any complaints.
