I got pulled over ...

OMG .. this is the first time i got pulled over!
This is what happened.
When i made a stop at a red light, a minivan pulled beside me honked me and the officer inside showed me his badge. He's like row down the window, and he said I want to talk to you and told me to pull into the Loblaw's parking lot.

I keep on thinking this is going to be my first ever speeding/careless/etc ticket .. after 2 years of driving.

Well after he got out of the van .. he was like what were you doing back at home depot's parking lot?? Are you dealing drugs back there?? I've been following your car ever since from home depot.

I did have notice the van following me for a long while, but didn't expect it's a police officer .. I went to home depot to give my friend a deposit for some lowering spring he's ordering for me by the way.

Then he searched my bag (Just got off school) in the trunk, and found nothing of course haha. After that, he trust me but he just need to record my info .. he was making a joke saying it's just for letting his boss know and he's really doing work instead of slacking off..

Anyways, he checked for like .. the longest time .. then came back out and told me do i have another ID. He said their system can't find my ID. I was like .. OMG you must be kidding .. then i showed him my wallet and have nothing else to proof besides my student ID. He was like .. did I buy off the driver's license?? Is it real ?? I'm like of coures it's real .. i did the test in Aurora .. then he trusted me and gave me back everything and said "Have a nice day!"

I hope the info he got is just for info purposes .. not going into any records!!
I need to find a summer job in like few weeks!

Anyways .. what a great way to end a week ..! (No school on fridays)

Good to hear it turned out well.

I can't say I've ever been in that posistion but everytime I've gone to the Casino, I'm always asked something off my driver's license to prove who I am.

One lady asked me to recite.

My Address
My Middle Name
When I Got my License
When I turned 19
What conditions are there on my license.

Jeezus.

a lot of the time they're just doing they're job.

can't complain really when they're curteous or at least professional about it.

my neighbours have called the police on a "knife fight" on my driveway.. we were training.. the cops came and saw two guys with boxing gloves, foam covered pvc tubes and were trying not to laugh too much.. gave us a bit of a lecture about doing it in the backyard at least to avoid "idiots" calling the police and them coming down with the sirens thinking they're going to get into a situation.

they wrote down my info.. my name.. etc.. just for their records.. all that ish is formalized just so people know they're working.

the casino turkeys want to make sure you're not drunk..

Yeah .. I didn't mind it at all, cause I didn't do anything wrong! ..
Well .. maybe cutting a van rather dangerously right infront of the officer LOL .. didn't know it was an officer .. and other than that! yeah!

But come on, do i really look like a drug dealer??!!

Beleive it or not, this is what the cop told us. Yes, he was in a van, like all the other ones for some reason. Anyways.

It was about..3am, we were at the plaza across from Commerce Gate on HWY 7. You know, the one with the drive thru TD? Accross from it is the CIBC. Anyways. The cop pulled into the parking lot and asked us:

What we were doing this late at night?

If we have been drinking any alcohol or taking any drugs
(He blinded us with his flashlight, jeez, i just wanted to play some late night CS...)

Then he asked, if we had any firearms like bazookas (He actually said..bazookas..)

After that he said goodnight gentleman and drive safe, and then he left. We all looked at each other blankly..then just drove off.

it's ok if they're pulling you over to do work and ensure public safety. i only find it annoying when i get pulled over at night for no apparent reason or if the cop goes on a power trip. which happens quite abit for me.........

When my 92 hatch was broken into I got pulled over twice in 20 minutes, only b/c the back window had plastic over it with a piece of cardboard. It was May long weekend and no one was open to fix it. The last officer to pull me over made me get out of the car and questioned me if it was my car, remember my plates say TUTTIGRL on them lol, he asked me about the car, who was in it, who it was registered too, how many km's, what was in the car etc. I told him right down to the cd playing what was in it. He said that he was suspicious about me driving so late and that he thought the car was stolen, thats when I told him that nothing was open to fix the window so I made due with what I had. When he was leaving he said again about getting the window fixed, I guess he didnt listen when I told him three times before why it wasnt fixed lol.

harsh, you should have asked the cop how if geography was something he studied in school...

rrsp... cops go with hunches... and act more on what they see and experience... nothing wrong, I don't think, with pulling people over that they have a bad feeling about... provided they treat you with respect until they find out you're a criminal or whatever.

----

we once got pulled over cause there was a report of a 'stolen black suv'

i think it was a training drill... not too many report "my car got stolen, it's a red hatchback"... the cop was either very stupid and a horrible liar... or inexperienced and a horrible liar.

I got pulled over because they ran my plate and the owner's name came back as Jason Drummond

turns out if I wasn't born when I was I probably would of been bent over the hood of my car. they were looking for a Jason Drummond due to some Criminal activity....
