ERTW, you sure about that? supposedly if you ask, and they don't show you, you will be found not guilty.

the boys in blue gave my friend a ticket for 16 km (or 15 or whatever - the minimum it was to get points).. my friend asked to see the radar. the cop got pissed, showed him, it was only 14 over. the the "officer" gave them tickets for other things in the car cause my friend caught him lying...

why would he show it if he was lying and he didn't have to?

there used to be a law that they have to show you the radar if you ask. not so anymore due to saftey concerns for the officer

these days they can refuse to show you, and the law assumes that whatevery speed they say you were going, you were going

innocent until guilty my @ss.

there should be a timestamp on the radar when they freeze it which is recorded for the protection of the driver.

inocent until guilty is for criminal charges.. this is a violation of the traffic act where you apparently its the other way around...

all the officer really has to do is walk up to your window and hand you the ticket

that's why engineers devised a clever mechanism called the hydraulic brake.

When going downhill, there is this thing called a brake pedal that you can use to control your speed. The brake pedal on your Honda and on the Caravan you were driving are situated roughly in the same place, immediately to the left of the gas pedal that you are obviously quite familiar with. Have a look the next time they let you near a car.
LMAO, someone beat me to it... hell soon as I read the guys post that's the first thing I thought. good call motti

I hope the cop sees this post and prints it up and brings it to the judge. THAT would be funny. You've admitted to speeding. And for your convenience I've copied this post into the Perf&Susp Archive where you can't edit it public service brought to you by bbarbulo
