I don't want to be PRIMARY DRIVER! HELP!

I need help because me being primary driver = a lot of money. Alrite, I have 3 cars at home and 3 drivers. My current insurance company says "I HAVE to be primary driver."

1) mom is primary driver for '03 Sienna
2) dad is primary driver for '96 Legacy
3) me primary driver for '97 Civic

Is it possible that I take my civic, go to another insurance company and sign up with them but with my dad being primary for the civic and me being occasional?

Therefore, my dad would be primary for '96 Legacy at INSURANCE company #1 and primary for '97 Civic at INSURANCE company #2. This possible?

only way for you to be not a primary driver is one of your parents or you move out of the house and then change names of pwnership on the vehicle.

The ownership is currently under my name.

Why cant I just go to another insurance company and register my dad as primary and me as occasional?

I mean honestly **** the insurance companies, it's not fair for people, that are younger to pay a huge amount for insurance, like what do they want from us they allow us to drive, at 16 years and 8 months, but want us to pay 250+ per month on insurance?, I mean i'm 17, going to college. I can't afford that there's not way I'm gonna work for my car along with gas and other expensive, when do I have time to work??

remember if your not paying insurance, your rates will never go down, and you will always remain high risk. gonna have to go through it and as you progress rates will go down little by little...

if you're not insured.... you can still drive your parents' cars... provided that your name isn't on their policy as an excluded driver... double check though..
