Each office is different I guess.
Go meet with the rep. and tell him what happed, ask about the costs, etc.

To be honest, unless you are being charged formally, I'd say just pay the damn thing cuz in the end it'll be more of a raping if you get a lawyer (financially). Unless there was a technicality that you know for sure is good... then you should get some representation, but if for sure you know that you are guity, lawyer or no lawyer, you are in for a ride.

BTW, I paid $400 cash to my Pointts lawyer... and that was a reckless or careless driving charge with a mandatory court appearance. This was in about March 1999. Totally a waste of money, it ended up costing $1500 altogether, or I should have had no lawyer, and I would have paid $300 and lost my license for 3-6 months.

no way that sucks.. well the thing is that i live in ottawa and for me to go to toronto every time is like $80plus my time... x-copper is charging me 550 fee.. they say i will have to pay a 300 dollar fine and i will be able to drive.... IF THE CASE IS GOOD>> but there is no loop holes or anything.. i am **** i guess...
