Green light-fail to proceed
 

hey, i got a ticket on june 2009 for stopping @ a green light, AS STUPID AS IT SOUNDS IT WAS A MISTAKE.

i was pulling up to a red, and i gauged it wrong and had to jump on the brakes to stop...it was when i was driving the old 94 rustbucket shytbox with braking issues... so yeah, when i did that all my stuff went flying off the seats, including a water bottle that landed around the pedals... so my eyes were off the road trying to get at it, anyways suddenly the whole car seems like i parked @ a carnival and yep, poilice right behind me.... what i didnt notice was when all the stuff went flying everywhere the light tuned green :o

my court date is on this coming tuesday... wtff do i say!? i've never taken a ticket to court :confused:

just say your 1st gear had issues and your tranny was all f'd up and you stalled... say you were on your way to the mechanic shop... you should say it messed up that day itself so they don't ask you why it wasn't towed or something

btw half the time the cops won't show up for these things so your ticket might get dropped.....

see i was thinking of that, but the accord was automatic...fail of a car... u gotta see it lol..
it was on june 16th 9:03 p.m. at the letter says lol

they freeaaaked me out tho... asked me to take the key outta the ignition and drop it in the passenger seat then raise my hand :l
....then they asked me for my information and i asked them if i could move my hands yet.... then china man got mad.

oh and it was 2 officers, china man had a ride-along .... african american guy with him

hmmm.... then just say your car was having electrical issues... say your distributor failed... because a car can stop in the midst of driving due to that issue... it even happened to me once.. actually twice..

just say you were on the way to get your distributor replaced since it was acting up... say it was working fine... then it stopped... sometimes the car will start sometimes it won't when it comes to this issue.. so you may have a chance..

but he said he got the ticket at 9pm..no garage is open at that time...
ummm..the only thing i can think of is...like climax said..say u had probs with your distrubtor..and u dint know at that time...because ur car started up fine and u were driving normal..and how..the car started to act up on the red light and once u tried moving forward..the car stalled on u...
and say that up until then..the car was fine tuned and did not give u a problem..
and if anything..they'll reduce the price of the ticket..but that sounds like a legit reason and they might drop it...

oh **** lol i forgot about the 9pm lol... just say you were takin it to a buddy who's a mechanic to fix... but yea takin that **** to court will definately be reduced or waived...

just tell the judge that the car was only worth 300$ bucks and the ticket is half that price or whaever lol..and at this point u cant afford to pay for that ticket..nor do u think its fair u got a ticket for a mechanical problem to ur car that u were not aware of

wow, alright now i gotta run over that excuse a couple a times get it drilled in so i dont switch stories half way through lmfao... thankz guyz @ next meet coffee & a donut is on me lol=).... *cough* if the ticket is dropped lol

just say, your water bottle fell around your pedals and you had to stop to grab it... i doubt highly you will even have to pay for this ticket... sounds uber stupid

hmph... they just lowered the fine to 40... i guess thats okay, but i really didn't want a ticket on file...what can you do eh... stupid friggen cop showed up like 2 seconds before the court was called into order.. that moment i lowered my head and recited fml over and over again.

i told em the whole story about the car having issues with no previous symptoms... and everything and still they said how either way i shouldn't have been driving a vehicle not fit for driving on the road...then i said it was perfectly fit for driving up untill that incident which i had taken care of the very next day... still the final ruling was a lowering in fine and no demerit points...

...thanks guys for the lookin out, a lot better than 110, either way i wouldn't have been docked any demerit points i dunno why the judge said it... ne ways yeah thanks

i love how this happens all the time. like come on, it's going to happen. what really makes me love it is that the cop couldn't just give you a light honk to let you know the lights green, but instead act as though you're a criminal in the midst of a crime hahahah
