Got raped today!

144 in a 100 on the 401
plus the infamous excessive noise ticket (for improper muffler)

gonna fight it...i'd be an idiot not to
but what's the best approach to getting the tickets reduced?

muffler...gonna change the muffler take a picture...plead ignorant and hope for the best (maybe go to altech and see if it's legal or not, and get proof of this)

with the speeding i'm gonna try to play the broke over worked student approach, since i was on my way from school to work...

any ideas?

Here is a trick for those points. This works, so pay close attention. If you get a bill for 100 dollars, send a cheque to the gov for 110. They can not accept more than wut the ticket was, so they will send the 10 dollards back. Throw it out. If you cash it, it closes the account, and you lose points, you throw it out, the account never closes, and you never lose points. Yes i have done this, and yes it has worked for me.

well i'm not gonna be the guinea pig, and try this "master plan"
cause if it *ucks up then i've got myself a large ticket on record...
i wanna try to get this ticket reduced to a 15 over....that's my goal!
cause then it's a minor, and won't affect my insurance...as much!
but still open to suggestions!

i figured that it had been...
so now i've just gotta pray that the cop doesn't show, which is rare, or that they buy the broke/stressed student approach and bump it down to a 15 over!?
