got off my speeding ticket!!!

last year i got two speeding tickets in two days. i have been driving for almost 10 years and never got anything....i got the first one back in april 2004 doing 28 over on lakeshore blvd and then the other one two days later on rogers road going 23 over.

i decided to go with a traffic tickey fighter (Traffic ticket info center on oakwood/eglinton) for both tickets. the court date for the one on rogers was last week. i got the points dropped from 3 to 0 and the fine dropped from $110 to $50...not bad. i had to pay them $200+ GST to fight it....all in all it cost me $264.

lets hope the one in march for the lakeshore ticket goes well too...

anyway, if you are looking for a traffic ticket guy, check this place out. their rates are pretty good.

Your not exactly off though
They dropped the points and reduced the fine which is good but your insurance company will still find out about them = $$$$ increase on your insurance.

I paid those guys to fight mine as well over a year back, same thing, reduced fine and 0 points but my insurance is $2000 a year more now.

Best bet is to go on your own and pray that they don't show up. Or make a good argument and be prepared. You'll have a better chance of winning that those guys you paid. They do jack.

Glad you're happy.

You're not off, you pleaded down, theres a difference.
Getting off means you woulda got nothing.
You're insurance will still go up if/when they find out.

you know what....there is always more the story than meets the eye.....your insurance does not go up $2000 per year because of a speeding ticket.....come on bro.

tell the whole story.

that is the whole story... it all depends on your insurnace co. some ppl have gotten their insurnace cancelled for way less.

I paid a guy $500 to fight a careless/reckless driving charge. He got it reduced to speeding of 30 over in an 80 zone, and I had to make a donation to a charity. so all in all, I should have just bit the bullet and paid the reckless driving charge. Except, even that was not a set ticket, it was a mandatory court date, but I should have gone in w/o a lawyer. The prosecutor told me that it was in his notes from the officer to take my license away, and he advised me to get a lawyer.

I guess to cops, bbarbulo = criminal that's what happens I guess when you are not courteous to an off duty officer who's speeding and cutting you off in his private vehicle.

exactly bro....these people fail to mention a lot of other things (like DUI, failed payments, cancelled insurance policies, etc, etc, etc...)

lol broooo read.

Just read over the posts one more time and think for a bit

Some people get **** raped like I have, and some people's rate stay equally the same, and supposily some rates go down like cynicals (I have no ****ing clue how the hell that happened) Any money his insurance company doesen't know about the tickets.

Just warning you, your not off the ticket. It's still on your record, and it will more likely take a hit on your insurance rates.

best of luck
