yo guys guess wat?
i got a ticket for "PASSENGER FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELT" what the ****? First off let me tell you what happened.


I was feeling ****** sick so i gave the car to ma boy to drive and i got into the back and i threw up on ma shirt (not a lot of a bit) so i needed to swap shirts so i took the ****** belt off and i was switching ma ****** shirt AT a RED LIGHT while undercover pulls next to me and looks at me i look at him and nod. Then they pull us over n asks the usual crap and hten he comes back wit a ticket and hands it to me i was like "sir i was changin ma shirts and you saw it too" he just gave it to me and walked off.

******* RUDE BITCHES.
I swear to god i am gonna shoot a ****** cop one day.

Now my question is can i fight it?
What the **** man i was changing ma shirts cuz i threw up on it. Why would i change shirts in th emiddle of the night without belts on if nothing is wrong infront of undercover **** popo (pulled up).

i wanna tell that bitch cop off soooooooooo badly.

thanks guys u guys are the best. hey i have one more problem i lost the ticket LOL i lost it with 10 mins cuz i threw it on ma seat and now i only found the white stub cant find the ticket wat do i do? and since most likely it will be held next year (the case) will it be pardoned or sumthin?

call the local court house and explain that you lost your ticket and you plan to fight it, they should give you a copy or printout. where was this, cuz if you gotta go to the brampton court house it will be a long time before you get a date. so write down exactly what happened so you don't forget in a year what you said and what the cop said

im sorry to hear that..dave is right..u call the court house and they will give u a copy..most likely the cop will not show up..just doing his "power trip" u can also bring ur boy at the court as ur witness

lol I got one of these tickets in front of my house, I took off my seatbelt right by my house, I was a passenger. The cop saw me take it off and boom. In a stealth car behind me.

2 dermerit points for it to, passenger failing to wear seat belt. The officer was not rude though and she told me to fight it, and also told me she was taking an extended vactation (which doesnt matter, by the time I get a date she would be back)..

She wrote on the ticket "Passenger failed to properly wear seatbelt".. is that a different charge or the same one?...

I mean I know if its twisted up or your not wearing it right you can get a ticket, I thought that was what it was called...

Either way I plan on fighting it...

I have one question, I thought as a passenger a not wearing seatbelt ticket would not affect insurance but if theres points involved, then would it? The officer said she did not no.. lol

This is the first ticket (other than a parking one infront my house) that I have gotten... I havent been driving that long though, about 3-4 years..

Ill see what Happens...


BTW, Ive been told by an officer and an officer in training that if the cop does not show up its not Automatically thrown out. In most cases it will be thrown out but it ifs a more serious offence or they have the cops notes from the day of the infraction they can still have court.. Ive never heard of it or seen it happen but my friend took a trip to the traffic court for his school and saw a cop not show up, guy thought he was off the hook, they said they are still charging him anyway...

its funny because i was reading the posts, and i was like JAY knows his stuff, and usually give ppl advise, why is he asking for all these questions..not that he cant....but then i looked up the date and i was like damn this thread is old............lol
