Hrmmmm, I think you are JUST at the 3 point - 4 point border..

I know that doing 35 over is 4 points and $255 or at least was the last time I got it but I think the court fee and fine itself have gone up to almost $300 by now.

You are probably lucky and only stuck with 3 points.

Regards,
OK

Take it to court and go to the "First Attendance". A friend of mine did this and they reduced his ticket (also first offence) to just a fine, no points. Either way, even if you opt for a trial, it will likely be reduced as it is your first offence.

Good luck.

If you want to plead not guilty you must take the ticket to the court location listed on the back of the ticket. You can only mail the ticket if you plead guilty. Read the back of the ticket, it should give you 3 options and instructions on what to do.

Look at the back of the ticket, and check the part where it says not guilty,a nd mail it in. Wait till they send you a court date and den go in, you'll get it reduced to just a fine and you can also get that reducedas well, just BS as much as you can about how you r broke and blah blah

After you mail your ticket in you should get a notice very quickly for an early resolution. Go to that meeting, it is usually reduced significantly there. I had my 129km/h reduced to 115km/h in a 100 km/h zone at that time. no points and only $40.
