first speeding ticket

frigg on my way to work this morning on kingston rd going towards morningside, stupid cop caught me. I was going 100 in a 60. However, he radar'd me at 89. When he asked me why i was going so fast i said i was late for work. He said where do i work, and i replied TD Bank. He said ok, ill reduce your speed from 89 to 75 in a 60 with no points. Although im grateful for that, im still cheesed about the 52.5$ fine. Money's tight these days :P

well, money must not be so tight that you're willing to take the risk; if you're doing 100 in a 60, chances are, you'll get caught.

be grateful that your ticket is only $50. i've gotten a ticket for $80 for driving in the hov lane before. i think your offense was greater than mine, yet you get to only pay a mere $50.

well its right off the highway and the stretch is 80km until it randomly turns into a 60 so i got caught doing 89 that LITERALLY turned from an 80 to a 60 right where he caught me

sooooo, that's the case with speed limits. no where is there a sign that warns you of the reduced speed. it just becomes reduced.

you can try and fight 5 over if you really want. you just have to take it to court and hope the cop doesn't show. he no show = you no more ticket.

Depending on what mood the judge is in and sees the officers notes and decides to charge you with the 40km/hr over instead.

I got the same ticket.. $52..
I was doing 29 over going down cawthra under dundas...
Definatly one of the worst places to speed.

Then,
I didnt pay it for 3 months.. they suspended my liscence without me knowing.
Suposedly i drove all through christmas with no liscence. Yay!! , thank god I didnt get pulled over by R.I.D.E.

Pay your ticket right away man. Take my word for it!
