few insurance questions

So...tickets come off your record after 3 years. But when do you count those 3 years? Is it the day of the offence, or is it the day of the conviction? Also, I had an accident in the past that was put on my sisters name and doesn't show up on my driver's abstract. Does this mean that she is the one that has the claim on record? Lastly, can someone give me the name/number to an insurance company that will insure someone that had a suspension in the last 6 years. I had 3 tickets when I was a stupid kid in 2001 so they're almost expired but I was suspended for 2 months (9 points on G2).

yes from day off offense (AFAIK)

yes she will have to claim the accident not you since technically it didn't happen while you were driving according to the law....

no Idea on that last one good luck

Kingsway will insure questionable drivers. They're a little cheaper than Facility.

i got a quote from johnson inc. that is 1/2 price of what our current company wants...they asked if i had any 'claims' not accidents and i said no because i don't. she then warned me that if there was a 3rd ticket in the last 3 years they don't insure and their underwriters would verify...the 3rd ticket has been over 3 years ago so technically i'm not lying.

Pilot will insurance you if your lic. was suspend. My D.L. was suspended about 3yrs ago for a unpaid traffic ticket.

Maybe as far as insurance is concerned.

Demerit points are back-dated to date of offence if you are convicted.
