got pulled over today, was at a light, minding my business, driving with the girlie, next thing i know, cop does a U turn after coming through the lights and puts on the lights, $110 ticket for licence plate not being HIGH enough off the ground, they have nothing better to do i swear

i have the wings west front for my crx, so i had it in the grill, you can see it easily, i even told the cop its only there til it gets painted monday, he said "aight one minute i'll be back" 25 minutes later he come back with a ticket and measuring tape looks at everything on the car for another ticket, if my girl friend wasn't in the car i was going to loose it on this guy

Dont drive your HONDA through DURHAM. You'll come out with 10 tickets and followed by undercover for 20 miles untill you do SOMETHING WRONG!!! Then they pull you over.

Durham is east of the city, not west.

I don't understand why everyone has such a bad time with durham cops. I've been driving around Whitby with my EG for almost 3 years and not one ticket. As long as I drive legal they have no excuse to pull me over.

i have no idea what the height requirement is in
the HTA but i am fighting it, i just got my court date yesterday
and its not til January, i should win, i got pics of it in the right
place now

That's because there is NO height requirement in the HTA. Fight that and you should win no problem.

Actually there is.

You see in the hta it says tht
the licenceplate has ot be in the farthest point on the vehicle which means as far OUT as possible from the car.
And it has to be CLEARLY VISIBLE.
so the cop could take that as a ticket just by saying he couldnt see it.
