Don't stop for food.. :(

I was on my way home from the meet last night when the thought strikes me to get some food.. so I start heading towards the bank to get some cash..

I go down erin mills parkway from south sheridan way and right at Sheridan Mall a cop pulls out and starts following me.. I'm doing 70 exactly so I don't really care and keep on driving.. I get down past the QEW and the speed limit drops to 60 so I drop my speed to 65.. he follows me all the way to wiseman ct. and pulls me over there..

He comes up to the car and the usual hows it going tonight, where you coming from etc. I tell him.. he goes okay, no problems.. there was a pump and run done by a blue civic, but I don't think it was you.. he asks me to quickly see my drivers license and registration, so I give it to him and I'm thinking alright everything is cool and he's gonna let me go. Then he starts in on the car.. so this car is modified eh? Then he starts going through EVERYTHING... what's this, whats that? etc..

So to make a long story short, I ended up with an improper muffler ticket and a defective horn ticket.. $110 each.. now I don't think these matter too much but on the improper muffler ticket he put down the make of my car as a civic, not a honda.. and on the defective horn ticket he misspelled my street and left out a letter.. anything I can do in court about that? and do you think a judge would drop the defective horn in court if got it fixed and had a reasonable excuse why it wasn't working that day?

too bad you can't hand out improper cop tickets.

tell the court you think he was high. if they ask for proof, show them the mistakes on the ticket.

I always try to avoid that area since there is a cop station there.

From the ride you gave us in your car yesterday your exhaust does not seem loud from the inside.

ya that sucks... cops are jerks like that in peel region...

anyways... what was the improper muffler ticket for just cuz it wasn't a stock muffler??

depends... i mean as far as the ticket goes your horn wasn't working... and that is a ticket... the judge might drop it down, but then again he might not... because you were guilty...

If you were pulled over in the Peel area then you won't be getting a court date for a while because they are so behind.

Hmm. The first reason the cop pulled him over was another blue Civic did a PUMP & RUN. Ended up not being him, BUT noticed some other stuff that wasn't right.

Absolutely no reason?

The Horn doesn't work and the wrong 'type' of muffler is installed. Both which are offenses under the H.T.A.

Please explain why you think it's absolutely no reason.
