disobey sign
I got a ticket being charged with disobey sign..
1.how do you know if there is a demerit points? does it say on your ticket or is it automatically inderdtood that there is a demerit point for that? 2.will my insurance go up ? 3.I put it on trial is there any chance of me winning? |
could you tell us in detail what sign you disobey .., I dont think it is the same penalty for all the signs.
You could probably write what happened ... It would surely help if you want advice from others ;) |

Maybe. Maybe not. Not all insurance companies surcharge for "disobey legal sign". Even among those that do, most will let you have one ticket "free" without surcharge in any three-year rolling period, and some will let you have two tickets "free". 3. Depends. What was the sign? The only real defence to this charge is that you either 1) it wasn't you driving (mistaken identity), 2) it was you but you didn't do what the sign prohibits, or 3) the sign itself wasn't a legal sign. |
Any moving violation has demerit points.

its hta 182 (2) I exited on a ramp at neilson going back to the next ramp... basically I am going westbound 401 exit on neilson, then exit next ramp (ramp to ramp) then some cruiser was down there waiting ... any chance of winning?
|
im so lost what you mean by ramp to ramp...
so you were going 401 west and exited on neilson, then you went north or south? and to what ramp? did you accidently pull into the ramp with "do not enter" sign? |

So yes, your ticket will effect you. When you get a ticket, you should automatically think, yes this will effect your insurance because is most cases it will. The only ticket an insurance dismisses is the failure to show proof of insurance, meaning you didn't have your liability (pink) slip with you.
