didnt pay ticket, suspended licence...
my buddy got a improper lane change ticket but forgot to pay it cuz he lost the damn thing. So today he got a notice for licence suspension due to non payment.
i know he's gonna get raped on insurance but question is how long will it stay on record for insurance?? Like when you get a speeding ticket it goes off your insurance record after 3yrs or something like that. How long for licence suspension??
And do they list why your licence was suspended??

I was in the same boat as your friend a few years ago, but my ticket was for invalid L.P. sticker (which I didn't pay in time)
Let me break the fee's down.
Ticket $110 + interest = $130
Get Lic. reinstated = $100
I had to go to the Court building to pay this fee not MOT.
For insurance increase it all depends on why your lic. was suspended, but there still a nice increase. Also it's NOT 3 yrs like a regular ticket it 6 yrs!!! TRUST ME!!
When I got my SiR I shopped around for insurance rates. Some places didn't even wanted to deal with me, and a couple said your insurance would've been around $2000/y cheaper if there wasn't that Lic. suspension.

not that hard man...go to court and ask, and you ALWAYS ALWAYS can apply for an objection and you have to fill out tons of paper work and then you have to wait 4 weeks to see if they will accpet or not, but it's worth it.....so hurry up and go

Getting your license suspended for failure to pay is classed differently then having it taken away. It's really not a big deal go pay the ticket get you license back and keep the recipts incase anyone ever has a problem with it. I have been through it before. The insurance company wanted to rape me intill i proved it was due to not paying a fine and they looked into it. Plus the fine was for a non-moving violation which helped out.
